Looking for a quiet, almost rural, location close to the stimulating heart of Christchurch City. Enjoy the views, a country walk, scenic drives, restaurants or explore the city.
Large private room with own entrance and ensuite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. In the room, you will find oil paintings by local artists.
The room is equipped with wine glasses, a fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee/tea making facilities. You can make your own breakfast, heat a snack and keep your drink cold on a hot summer day.
It is all ready for you to move in. You are situated in 1000 m2 of well-established garden. You can stroll through the garden at your leisure. Enjoy the garden or the magnificent views over the Canterbury plains towards the Southern Alps.
With us you feel well away from the busyness of the city, though it’s only a 7km drive to Christchurch city. We are on the PORT HILLS of Christchurch. It’s an ideal gateway for your day trips to the Banks Peninsula, especially Akaroa.

Location: We are 7 km from the heart of Christchurch, 6 km from the railway station and 14 km from Christchurch International Airport.

Directions:
From the city centre by car: Drive via Colombo Street towards the Port Hills. Turn left into Cashmere Road at the roundabout before you go up the hill. We are on 417 Cashmere Road. Be aware Cashmere Road does an unexpected turn to the left when you see the sign Halswell Quarry.
From any direction; get onto SH 75 in Christchurch (signposted Halswell/Akaroa). When driving on Halswell Road turn into Henderson Road. At the end turn right into Cashmere Road.
