Anchor Lodge is located in Coromandel Town on the west coast of New Zealand’s Coromandel Peninsula and provides spa apartments and suites, modern motel units, as well as hostel accommodation for backpackers

We are located only 400 metres from the town centre amongst native bush and overlooking Coromandel Harbour. Anchor Lodge is located 2.5 hours drive from Auckland International Airport, one hour from Hot Water Beach and within 3.5 hours from Rotorua.

The area is full of great activities and attractions including bush walks, fishing trips, and attractions such as Driving Creek Railway, the Gold Stamper Battery and The Waterworks – the team at Anchor Lodge will help you plan things to do in the Coromandel.

We have a range of accommodation to suit all budgets:

2. Motel units; full kitchen facilities, tastefully decorated and opening onto balconies.
3. Hostel accommodation; clean, comfortable with a social atmosphere.
