DESCRIPTION OF ACCOMMODATION

A warm welcome awaits guests at Rovers Rest. Rovers Rest offers guests two styles of accommodation, a Guest House or the Studio Units. Half way between Glen Aplin and Ballandean, this Colonial Style Farm house is situated on 80 acres in the heart of the Granite Belt Highlands. Rovers Rest Guest House has two luxury queen beds and two king size single beds and one sofa bed. This superb house has two bathrooms, separate dining room (setting for eight), lounge with large combustion fire place and sweeping verandahs with great views of the surrounding country side. Walk to Rumbalara Winery only a few hundred metres down the road or drive to more than 15 wineries within ten minutes. Rovers Rest Guest House is situated in the middle of the Queensland Wine District.

Rovers Rest - Guest House:
Half way between Glen Aplin and Ballandean, near Stanthorpe, Rovers Rest is a Colonial style renovated Farm House. The guest house is situated on 80 acres in the heart of the Granite Belt Highlands.
The accommodation has 2 luxurious Queen size beds and 2 King size single beds, as well as one sofa bed. This superb house has 2 bathrooms, seperate dining room (with a setting for 8 people), a lounge with large combustion fire place and sweeping verandahs with great views of the surrounding countryside.
If you like, you can walk to wineries, or drive to more than 15 wineries within 10 minutes. We are central to the South East Queensland wine district.
The House Features:
Microwave, electric frying pan, blender, 4 toast toaster, large fridge,television, video, cd player, tape player and radio. Also included are hair dryer, iron, ironing board, electric blankets, oil heater and all linen supplied.

Rovers Rest - Studio Units:
The studio units can cater for four per unit (mum and dad and 2 small children) and there are 4 units. Two units have a Queen bed and a sofa bed and Two units have 2 King Single beds and a sofa bed. All units have there own bathroom and kitchen with a fridge, Jug, toaster, microwave and sink with a setting for 4 and a table and chairs for 4.
Each unit also has a tv and stereo. Gas heating warms the units in winter. There is a large communal area which has a large wooden 8 seater dining table, 2 couches (sofa beds), a log fire, large television, Stove and BBQ.
The Studio Units are all in one building which is 34m long and 8.5 m wide. Each unit is approximately 6m by 6m.There is a fully roofed verandah which stretches the length of the building.
There is wheelchair access to all units with unit 1 specifically designated disabled.
