Te Ana, in the Oberer family since 1936, offers peace and tranquility in a spacious, rural garden setting, affording magnificent views of lake, volcanically formed hills and lush farmland. A wonderful opportunity for the keen photographer. Cosily wrapped in the warmth of a down-filled duvet atop a woollen underlay awake to the sounds of the dawn chorus heralding another adventure-packed day Downunder. Enjoy a leisurely stroll on the farm or in the garden, before joining your host for an extremely generous country breakfast, as healthy or indulgent as you desire. Soak in the wonderful views of hills and lake over a last coffee before heading off to Waiotapu or Waimungu Thermal Reserves, Waikite Thermal Mineral Swimming Pool, or another of the many Rotorua/Taupo attractions. A farm tour, by arrangement, introduces guests to local farming practises in season, and some great scenery. A three-course dinner is available - by prior arrangement only. Families welcomed by our loyal Jack Russell, Jack Russell-Oberer.
