DESCRIPTION OF ACCOMMODATION

Bogstad Camp & Turistsenter is situated in beautiful natural surroundings 9 km from Oslo city centre. The campsite covers about 40 acres (160 mål) with Nordmarka (a wilderness area) and Bogstad Lake as its nearest neighbors, providing unlimited outdoor activities. The campsite is owned by the Norwegian Automobile Federation, which is connected to the Alliance of International Tourism.

Bogstad is the largest campsite in Norway and has managed to retain its charm. At the campsite we have space for 1000 camping units, 210 of which are caravan spaces connected to electricity. Of our 46 cabins (for four or three persons), 16 have showers, toilets and 36 have color TV. There are 2 sanitary buildings with showers and toilets, one of which is open all year. All of our cabins are winter insulated, heated and fully equipped for both summer and winter use.

The restaurant "Markaporten" opens at Bogstad Camping on friday the 30th of April. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor above the Kiwi shop and will be open from 10-21 o'clock. The menu will be available on this web site shortly. The restaurant does not make table reservations.

We are the first campsite in Norway, which uses electronic cards to give our guests entrance to our services and facilities.
