The Norwegian heritage site Heddan Gard is a farm resort in the beautiful mountains of southern Norway. With its secluded location, Heddan Gard offers a peaceful stay, a charming and quiet place to get away from it all, at the same time as it is easy to reach, and not far away from cities, airports or ferry harbours.
On the farm there are a total of 29 buildings, 9 of which are used for lodging. The main building, “Låven”, consists of a restaurant, meeting facilities and lounges, the rest are barns, houses, restored sheds and huts, a mill, a blacksmith-shop and summer dairy in the mountains.
Hedda Gard offers bed and breakfast, half board and selfcatering cottages. tasteful meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the restaurant “Låven” on demand.
A number of activities are available on and around the farm. Great hiking- and fishing-possibilities nearby. Bikes for rent. The farm is also great as a base for day-trips and excursions in the southern part of Norway, and many points of interests are reached within a few hours drive. The owners are more than willing to share their knowledge on where to go and what to see.
