DESCRIPTION OF ACCOMMODATION

Blue Lagoon Christian Camp offers hostel style accommodation at Dodges Ferry 35 minutes from Hobart. There are four dormitory style accommodation wings with 18 bunks in each. Each wing is further divided into separate family size rooms sleeping two, four, or eight persons. Foam mattress, pillows and blankets are provided. Please bring your own doona, sheets or sleeping bag and pillowcase. There are shared bathroom facilities and showers are coin operated. A modern dining room with seating up to 120 people is available, along with a games room, BMX bikes and track, two playing fields. Available activities include canoeing, fishing, soccer, cricket, football, basketball, surfing, beach games, orienteering and many other activities. For those who love surfing and swimming there are a few beaches nearby to choose from and Blue Lagoon is within easy walking distance. Blue Lagoon Christian Camp is ideally located to visit the Port Arthur Historic site and the many attractions of the Tasman Peninsula. Its also well located to visit historic Richmond, Hobarts many attractions, and Maria Island on Tasmanias east coast.
