People who have visited Bozcaada before know the flowers blooming at every step, the sounds of music coming from the upper floors of bay-window
houses narrowly standing in line throughout the charming back-streets, children playing marbles on steep cobbled back-streets even today, house doors being always half open and mornings sunny with warm greetings. We only contributed with our heartiness, love and praises to life’s beauty to this colorful, lively and untouched structure. Whenever you decide to get to go away from daily city life for a while and get some fresh breath and
want to be born again inhaling the smell of rosemary, thymes and geraniums, and to set sail to pleasant chats and who knows, maybe to new loves, then come to Eflatun, and be our guest in this paradise garden.
We have opened a guesthouse on an island well-known for its colorful sea and golden sands, unique bays, vineyards, wines and historical structure, Bozcaada. Our guesthouse has got its name from the color of the Algerian violets, marsh-mellows and geraniums of Chois which decorate the narrow back-streets of Tenedos, a well reputed other name of our island, for the whole year. It adds a Eflatun (lavender) inspired look to the island’s rich history going back to the year 3000 B.C. and also to the cultural structure which became subject to Herodot’s and Aristo’s works.
Wireless internet access will be a novelty this season at Eflatun. Frankly television will never be an option in our rooms as long as we the owners don’t change because we make you our call to live the island with us not to shut yourselves in your rooms. Internet in the other hand is a medium for us to communicate with you as we do now and is a channel to pass our emotions about the island on. So we don’t hesitate to use the internet and let you use.

Air condition is also used in the rooms of Eflatun starting from last year. Unfortunately the earth’s climate has changed a lot since we first came to the island. It was like yesterday when we laughed away to the idea of installing air conditions to our rooms since Bozcaada was famous with it’s never lasting and always calming wind. The wind of Bozcaada is not gone for good but we couldn’t let you suffer from the hot weather because of the conventions nobody intends to sign elsewhere in the world.
