The house has sat in its magnificent position overlooking Russells tranquil Matauwhi Bay for over 100 years and now combines the charm and character of an historic house with luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation, relaxed hospitality and glorious views. For many of our guests one of their delights is to relax on the decks and drink in the 180° panorama of water, bush and yachts. Two spacious suites and a studio room, all with water-views and private decks, make up the ground-floor accommodation while upstairs are two charming rooms, a double with a magnificent bay vista, the other a super-king room. Start your day on the main front deck with our generous, healthy breakfast: fresh Kerikeri orange juice, Northland fruit, home made muesli, jams and preserves, organic coffee and teas, then a delicious café-style cooked special. You ll be all set for your day out in the bay.
